11 June 2002, 4.10 a.m. Pelkosenniemi, Kaira-aapa. One of the most typical sounds of the northern nature of mires is the happy warbling song of a Wood Sandpiper. At the beginning of the recording, you can hear the bird’s clacking warning and later on, a mating call which is typical of this species. Common Cuckoo, Willow Warbler, Eurasian Curlew, Yellow Wagtail, Common Snipe, Jack Snipe, Brambling. 3´01"
