about

It is a crisp end-of-March morning in this forest of fir trees close to a still ice-covered large lake. The grinding of the ice sounds very like distant thunder. The Hazel Grouse and the Willow Tit are two bird species that nest in this environment and their song season has already started. The drumming sounds from a Great Spotted Woodpecker can be heard in this soundscape. Great Tit, Eurasian Black Grouse.
